OVERVIEW & SUMMARY
Steve Milovich is an accomplished business and senior human resources executive with a track record of successfully working with leadership teams to drive results in diverse companies, industries and global environments – including highly regarded blue chip companies, startups, and turnarounds. He has held executive positions with some of the world’s most successful and iconic companies, including The Walt Disney Company, PepsiCo, and Honeywell.

He is a highly effective and trusted partner known for bringing creative and practical solutions to strategic and operational human resources and organization challenges. Steve is also known for working effectively with diverse individuals and teams, bringing an authentic human touch to those he interacts with.

SECOND CAREER JOURNEY
After a distinguished corporate career, Steve retired from The Walt Disney Company to begin his second career as a business school professor, human capital consultant and executive coach. He is now focused on developing the talent and potential of the next generation of business leaders and working with leadership teams to achieve their strategic goals.
He is currently President of Milovich Partners, a strategic human capital consulting, advisory and executive coaching company. He is also Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at the Institute for the Future in Palo, Alto, California, a Senior Advisor for The Boston Consulting Group and Executive in Residence and Senior Lecturer in The Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. Steve has also taught at University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and Pepperdine University's Graziadio Business School.

THE DISNEY YEARS
Prior to beginning his second career, Steve held several top executive human resource positions with The Walt Disney Company, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Human Resources, Global Organization and Leadership Development and Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources, Talent and Workforce Diversity for Disney | ABC Television. He led numerous initiatives that increased the engagement, diversity and efficiency of the organization and its workforce, as well as the attraction, development, and retention of key talent at all levels. He also served as a strategic advisor for several joint ventures including A+E Networks and Hulu.

Steve was also the founding leader of The Walt Disney Company's digital and social media group, which developed

the strategy, platform, products and tools to increase the engagement, collaboration, and connectedness of employees while reinforcing – and advancing – the Disney culture.
A DIVERSE PORTFOLIO
Before joining The Walt Disney Company, Steve held several other executive human resources positions, including SVP Human Capital, Walker Digital; Vice President Global Human Resources and Communications, Honeywell; SVP Human Resources and CHRO Broadway/Macy’s; and Director Education and Executive Development, PepsiCo. He began his career at United States Steel Corporation, holding management positions in employee and labor relations.
BOARDS & AFFILIATIONS
Steve is Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at the Institute of the Future and he is also a member of the advisory boards for two startup companies: Clear Force and Concerto. Steve is an emeritus advisory board member of the University of Southern California's Center for Effective Organizations and Marshall School of Business. He is also a member of the National Advisory Board for the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Steve earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University and the Presidents and Key Executives MBA from Graziadio School of Busines at Pepperdine University. He also holds coaching certifications from both The Hudson Institute and The International Coaching Federation.
A PERSONAL GLIMPSE
Steve was born in Price, Utah, the county seat of Carbon County, where he grew up immersed in the rich ethnic traditions and cultures of his Serbian/Croatian and Italian parents, grandparents and extended family. Carbon County is known for its proud immigrant heritage and historical references as Utah’s melting pot of diversity. Family has always been the cornerstone of Steve’s life. He has maintained strong relationships over the years with extended family, friends and colleagues.
Steve and his wife, Tammy, are the parents of two children and one grandson. He is an avid reader and consumer of media and loves to travel internationally, especially to his beloved Italy. Steve regularly hosts "Socrates Cafe" sessions at his local coffee shop and is huge music fan and amateur musician.
